Miss WORLD PANJABAN 2010

Arshdeep Kaur Gosal, of Brampton, Canada surprised everyone when this 5'7, 18 year old talented and beautiful girl grabbed the title”MISS WORLD PANJABAN 2010 held on 18th December 2012 at Ludhiana. She became the first  Abroad Born Punjaban to win this title. Arsh already a “Miss Canada Punjaban”, proudly represented the Canadian Punjabis at this grand pageant. She is student of B.Sc Nursing, she vowed everyone with her dancing skills during solo dance and Gidha Round. She has also pledged to donate her eyes and encourage many social and cultural events around the world.

   Also the stars of the event were Navreet Sandhu, runnerup of Miss USA Panjaban, won 1st runner-up title of MISS WORLD PANJABAN and Harpreet Kaur Johal of Ropar (Punjab) who is also passionate about folk dance, walked away with 2nd runner-up tittle with her awesome solo dance performance on song "menu kach di glassi vang rakh mundya". Harsimran Kaur Saini Miss Panjaban Spain won tittle of "Beautiful Dance" with her mind-blowing performance on song "Ban Sapni Gidhe de vich firan nachdi". Amaneep Bhanwra of Hoshiarpur took away tittle of "Mrig-Naini".  Also Parneet Kaur of Patiala won "Suggad Siani Punjaban" and Karmpal Kaur Mand Miss USA Panjaban won tittle of "Beautiful Bride". "Gidhiyan da Rani" tittle was won by Gurpreet Aulakh of Chandigarh. Monica Singh Miss Italy Panjaban also grabbed the tittle of "Beautiful Smile". ” Lamm Salami Gutt” title was grabbed by Rajnish Kaur of Gurdaspur, while Simran Gurian of Mumbai won the title of “Chamkdar Twacha”. Barinder Kaur of Muktsar won the “ Budhiman Panjaban” , Harminder Arora of Ludhiana won the “Milapadi Panjaban” , Arshpreet kaur of Mohlai won the title of “ Nipun Panjaban”  and Navreet Waraich Miss Panjaban Haryana won the title of “Gunwanti Panjaban”, beside this Special Jury Award gone to Manpreet Gill of Kolkatta and Amandeep kaur of Delhi.

Gidha performance by all the participants was really mesmerizing.

 Presence of Divya Dutta famous bollywood Actress, Actor  Sudhanshu Pandey      , famous promoter Iqbal Mahal of Canada, Punjabi folk Singer Dolly Gularia, Raajie M. Shinde of PTC Channel and Prof. Inderjit Singh Registrar of Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar as honer’able judges really made event more brightful .Event was LIVE telecasted by PTC Punjabi. Anchors of the show were Biba Asha Sharma of USA and Dr. Nirmal Jaura.  Famous Singer Jazzi B, Amrinder Gill, Harjit Harman, Rimz J, Sherry Mann, and Simran Goraya  also performed and was having no words to appreciate the event and graceful punjabans.
